Designed by renowned self-defense expert Michael Janich, the Yojimbo™ 2 played a key role in popularizing the tactical Wharncliffe concept. In this elite version, the design is further enhanced by the use of CPM® SPY27®, Spyderco's exclusive steel developed with Crucible® powder metallurgy technology.

Its advanced formula combines elements such as vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and nitrogen, enhanced by the presence of cobalt and the CPM process, to offer an extraordinary balance between edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Ed Schempp, a wheat farmer, metallurgist, and renowned knife maker, created the Persian Folder by blending classic Western elegance with exotic Eastern charm. Traditionally, Persian knives are fixed, but Ed reinterpreted this typical shape in a folding knife.

Characterized by curved and harmonious lines, the Persian Folder 90 mm stands out for its black Micarta scales combined with polished stainless steel guards. The handle features a series of finger choils that allow for a firm grip and total control of the blade. The blade, inspired by the East, has a pronounced belly and an elegant upward-pointing tip.

Made of high-performance VG-10 steel with a concave grind, the blade measures 89 mm and features a prominent “hump” above the opening hole, ideal as a thumb rest. The clip allows for right-side tip-up pocket carry. A milling on the locking mechanism, known as the David Boye Dent, increases safety by preventing accidental unlocking during a firm grip.

The Temperance 2 is Spyderco's answer to the need for a medium-sized fixed blade knife for heavy-duty use. Designed in-house by Sal Glesser for camping, general use, and MBC (Martial Blade Craft), this versatile knife also has a place in the kitchen, where Sal himself uses it both indoors and outdoors.

Made from high-quality VG-10 stainless steel, it features a thick, wide blade with a spear-point profile and flat grind on both sides for excellent cutting performance. The knurling on the spine and finger choil ensure maximum control and precision, while the sturdy construction makes it ideal for survival, hunting, camping, and food preparation.

The Canvas Micarta handle provides a secure grip, excellent grip, and quick indexing during MBC techniques. The flat pommel acts as a leverage point for the thumb in reverse or rearward grips. The Temperance 2 comes with a Boltaron sheath and 5-position Tek-Lok for versatile carry.
