The Boker Stellar 112062, also known as the Stellar Super Liner, is a discontinued folding knife made in Solingen and now particularly interesting to collectors and enthusiasts of earlier Boker production. The design combines a 440C stainless steel blade with a titanium handle featuring circular machining, a distinctive aesthetic element of the Super Liner series. Its construction uses a liner lock system and retains compact proportions, with an overall length of 175 mm and a stated weight of 115 g.

Intended use: Collection, display and everyday cutting tasks compatible with a folding knife
    Country of manufacture: Germany
    Blade: 440C stainless steel -
    Handle: Titanium with circular machining
    Blade length: 70 mm
    Blade thickness: 2mm
    Overall length: 175 mm
    Weight: 115 g
    Opening system: Manual opening
    Lock: Liner lock
    Clip: yes
    Packaging:
Notes: Discontinued model, item code 112062, also identified by the names Stellar and Stellar Super Liner. Specimen from a private collection.

The Stellar belongs to an earlier generation of Boker folding knives characterised by the use of titanium and a design with rounded shapes. The geometric machining of the handle makes its aesthetic character immediately recognisable, while the 440C blade and liner lock represent solutions typical of technical cutlery from that period.

    Notes: Design by Brad Zinker

While we've seen plenty of Boker products over the years, resourceful knife makers continue to find ways to surprise us. For example, Brad Zinker from Florida with his Urban Trapper, one of the thinnest profile titanium framelocks we've ever experienced. With just 8mm grip thickness (without clip), the term "slim" only inadequately describes the Urban Trapper for its usable size.

The large holes and titanium transform the Urban Trapper into a real featherweight of just 48 g that can be carried extremely comfortably both in a suit pocket and in light summer trousers. Considering the overall minimalist design of the knife, the size of the flipper is equally reserved.

When used, it still impresses with its outstanding functionality and reliably opens the blade on VG-10 ball bearings. The blade shape of this classic trapper pocket knife, widely distributed in the United States and worn for many years by Brad Zinker, was the inspiration for this unusual piece.
