WAKI XXV ANNIVERSARIUM LIMITED EDITION is a limited series version of only 150 pieces that keeps all the features of the famous Waki model intact.

This product is an elaboration of the Japanese Wakizashi sword, a typical blade 30 to 60 centimeters long, which the Samurai always carried in contact with the body, where the Katana was carried exclusively in battle.

The blade has the classic Japanese Tanto profile and is made of Böhler N690 steel with heat treatments that raise its hardness to 58 HRC for the best combination of edge hold and strength. The blade, with flat rounding, features a precious satin finish.

The handle, in black coloring, is made of Forprene while The black-colored Cordura sheath is equipped with a MOLLE system that ensures safe carrying of the razor-sharp blade by protecting it from shocks that could reduce its efficiency.

Selvans Expeditions, as well as the Selvans model from which it derives, was born from the collaboration between Extrema Ratio and the Master instructor F.I.S.S. (Federazione Italiana Survival Sportivo e Sperimentale) Daniele Dal Canto. This tool is the result of the modification of the ONTOS, military survival knife, realized in order to accentuate and maximize the performance of the knife.

Selvans Expeditions uses Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC with MIL-C-13924 burnishing and stone washed surface treatment (Dark Stone finish). The handle has been lengthened and the blade weighted to promote effective cutting strokes. It comes with a desert Cordura sheath with MOLLE system, equipped with a mini pouch containing paracord with flammable filament that can be used in case of emergency and/or critical weather conditions and a Firesteel for lighting fires.

The survival kit (not included and purchasable separately) has been optimized and includes whistle, chainsaw, drinking pads, compass, brass wire, flintlock, flashlight, paracord 2,5 mt. and sharpener.

The Extrema Ratio Frame Rock is a new knife, based on the Ti-Rock project, a successful frame-lock knife made by Extrema Ratio in 2016 exclusively for Coltelleria Collini.

The Extreme Ratio Frame Rock is characterized by a titanium handle that offers great resistance while being very light. The integrity of the frame-lock system is guaranteed against wear by an easily replaceable hardened steel insert.

Unlike its drop-point predecessor, the Rock frame has a 75mm long, 6.0mm thick spearpoint blade fitted with a fuller for further lightening. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, heat treated to a hardness of 58 HRC. The same is available with a black finish with DLC treatment or satin.

To make opening even more fluid and without uncertainty, the blade rotates on ball bearings. This mechanism allows the user to adjust the force necessary to obtain the release of the blade from the closed position.

The shape of the reversible clip allows a hidden port in the pocket, making the knife not visible from the outside. The large and solid handle and the well-proportioned blade allow this knife to tackle heavy tasks. The Frame Rock weighs less than 200g, making it somewhat light for such a sturdy knife. Comes inside an ABS box.

Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by Japanese Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used V-Toku2 carbonaceous at 62 / 63HRC for the central plate and SUS410 stainless steel for the two external plates, in order to guarantee a very high cutting capacity, penetration and sealing of the wire together with an easy regrinding. and maintenance but at the same time the blade has a remarkable resistance to corrosion and an important increase in resilience given by the type of external steel and by the laminated structure.
Selvan model: for this First Production Run a run of 5 pieces numbered from 1 to 5 was created.

The Selvans was born from the collaboration between Extrema Ratio and FISSS (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival). The project consists of modifying the Ontos, a military survival knife, to accentuate and maximize the performance of the knife as a hiking tool.

The handle has been lengthened and the blade weighted to favor the effectiveness of the cutting strokes and to make more use of the inertia of the stroke.

FULCRUM C is the compact version of FULCRUM, it maintains all the characteristics of solidity and robustness and, thanks to the reduced dimensions of the blade (only 110 mm) and the handle, it is easily portable and concealable. Japanese steel merges with Italian excellence

For this 2019/2020 collaboration, exclusive to Collini Cutlery, we have decided to offer a series of best sellers produced by Extrema Ratio. Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by the Japanese Takefu Steel. Specifically, for the central sheet we used the carbonaceous V-Toku2 at 62 / 63HRC and the stainless SUS410 for the two external sheets, in order to guarantee a very high cutting, penetration and sealing capacity of the wire together with an ease of regrinding and maintenance but at the same time the blade has a remarkable resistance to corrosion and an important increase in resilience given by the type of foreign steel and the laminated structure.

SHRAPNEL OG model: for this First Production Run, a circulation of 10 pieces numbered from 1 to 10 was produced.

SHRAPNEL OG is a truly multi-purpose "back-up", with strong combat attitudes. The leaf blade is characterized by a wide flat winding, with a narrow sharpening angle which makes it particularly sharp. As in the ancient swords of the Japanese Samurai.

Rolled steel - imported into Italy from Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. Already in 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths in fact combined different materials to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that the swords from Samurai have been preserved to the present day becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Following this tradition applied to modern metallurgy, we are now able to have technologically advanced steels already tested and used in cutlery also by famous brands such as Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Mcusta, Kai, Sog, Zwilling, Rockstead, etc.

Characteristics of San Mai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals taken individually:

- Longer tool life
thanks to the use of high quality steel with a high carbon content (V-Toku2, VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade once hardened, reaches hardness and cutting performance significantly higher than that achieved with the use of traditional steels.

- Greater resilience
built with the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the lateral coating (Stainless Steel).

- Better corrosion resistance
the steel used for the external layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves the corrosion resistance also on the wire.

- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although normally the steel becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multi-layer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For optimum performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

- Improvement of the aesthetic result

Dedicated to those who are more at ease with a knife with a more classic profile, the VENOM is characterized by a wide, flat main grind.

The particular situation created in the early years of the 1914/18 war, now mired in increasingly complex and protected trenches and fortifications, favored the formation of men who, little by little, specialized in the coup.

Our assault units, the Arditi, had their dagger. It was obtained from the pieces cut away by the long blades of the Vetterli 1870 bayonets, which in the narrow trenches, in the corridors, between the reticulars were only an obstacle. It was certainly a rustic weapon, of recovery, not too beautiful but certainly inexpensive, light, not cumbersome and in expert hands also effective.

For this new exclusive collaboration with Extrema Ratio we decided to propose a best seller in the world of cutlery, the Shrapnel model. It's a satin blade version but the most important thing is that has been used, for the first time in Italy, the famous Japanese Steel San Mai produced by Takefu Steel. Commissioned and officially adopted in 2002 by the famous 9th Regiment. Raiders "Col Moschin", this model expresses the quintessence of pure combat knife.

HISTORICAL SUMS ON THE DEPARTMENT:
The 185 ° RAO of the '' Folgore '' is a department with an ancient tradition, but very new. The design of this military knife, sponsored by COFS (Special Forces Operative Command) in the person of General Bertolini, had already been suggested by some collectors of white weapons of the time. The restyling of the famous "paratrooper assault dagger mod. 1939 ", constitutes an important piece of Italian military history.

The knife, while borrowing the line, the structure and the proportions from the original, has been strengthened, enriched with functional modifications and made with materials with modern military specifications. The kit includes: a knife to slaughter and general use, one skinner provided with cross handle to skin and clean the internal organs the animal, a carver to skin head and snout and a stone with two grains for regrinding of all instruments.
