Knife handcrafted by Master C.IC. (Corporazione Italiana Coltellinai - Italian Knife-makers Guild) Livio Montagna. Excellent reproduction of one of the most iconic knives ever: the classic Bowie. A knife created by Rezin Bowie in the early 19th century for his brother Jim Bowie, the famous American pioneer whose rather reckless life is now shrouded in legend.

Livio Montagna's excellent craftsmanship does justice to this piece of history with its classic and timeless stylistic features: the double guard, the clip point blade, the handle in natural material.

Developed as the Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon, the multi-purpose knife was designed for the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 1950s. Although it was never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War, especially in the hands of American special forces. Designed by David Repossini, instructor of Krav-Maga with decades of experience in martial arts and combat systems in the military, was founded with the purpose of joining a blade with a survival for the fight, trying to be more effective than high knives already in business. Finally Pohl Force has received exclusive permission of the original manufacturer to be able to use the basic design for its own interpretation. With the Quebec One, Pohl Force has implemented a classic use knife that
has been high on the wish list of company founder Dietmar Pohl for more than 20 years. Finally Pohl Force has received exclusive permission of the original manufacturer to be able to use the basic design for its own interpretation. As a “Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon“ the knife was developed in the early ‚50’s for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Although never officially introduced, it was used in Vietnam -mainly in the hands of Special Forces units where it clearly demonstrated its capabilities. The new AVES has been designed especially for pilots as a survival and emergency knife. The extremely massive, spherical ground blade is coated with DLC and comes as close as possible to the concept of "indestructible" with the material thickness of 6 mm across its entire surface. Despite its compact design, this blade and its width have a very high degree of hacking efficiency. This spares the deeply retracted edge of the belt cutter with its lines and also allows it to be used with a fitted Kydex sheath, a benefit not to be underestimated in tight cockpits. In addition, this knife includes a second sheath made of Cordura. It is MOLLE-compatible and can also be worn on the lower leg. The handle end is formed as a lever/screwdriver. A grindstone is located under the G-10 casing. An indestructible tool on which you can completely rely in an emergency.

The Pacific, born of the fruitful collaboration between Reeve and HARSEY is the civilian version of the model Green Beret created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of "the 1st Special Forces Group" department that has operated in Asia and the Pacific; the name of the knife derives the operating environment of the department.

Directly derived from military specifications, this folding was developed to replace a fixed blade in use.

To achieve this, very strong materials, high thicknesses and a solid and safe diaper opening / closing system were used.

The knife is equipped with a manual safety device that confers maximum safety in use and reduces the risk of accidental closures in a manual manner.
The safety device, if inserted in the closure, prevents the operators or police officers from turning the knife against them in the event of theft.

Materials and processes:
All the parts of the knife are machined from solid by high precision numerical control machines while assembly, adjustment and sharpening are done by hand.
The blade is made of N690 cobalt stainless steel, a steel with very high resistance to mechanical stress, cutting capacity, wire hold and corrosion resistance. The grinding is flat and the hardness is 58HRC.
The handle grips are made of Anticorodal, an aluminum alloy with high resistance to mechanical stress and oxidation.
The shank, in tempered N690, is an effective emergency crystal breaker. All the screws, pins and laclipes are in burnished stainless steel. The blade, the lever and the shank are covered with Testudo treatment, very resistant to abrasion and oxidation. The handles are black anodized.
