WAKI XXV ANNIVERSARIUM LIMITED EDITION is a limited series version of only 150 pieces that keeps all the features of the famous Waki model intact.

This product is an elaboration of the Japanese Wakizashi sword, a typical blade 30 to 60 centimeters long, which the Samurai always carried in contact with the body, where the Katana was carried exclusively in battle.

The blade has the classic Japanese Tanto profile and is made of Böhler N690 steel with heat treatments that raise its hardness to 58 HRC for the best combination of edge hold and strength. The blade, with flat rounding, features a precious satin finish.

The handle, in black coloring, is made of Forprene while The black-colored Cordura sheath is equipped with a MOLLE system that ensures safe carrying of the razor-sharp blade by protecting it from shocks that could reduce its efficiency.

WAKI XXV ANNIVERSARIUM LIMITED EDITION comes in an IP67-certified watertight Polypropylene technical case with pressurization valve that is weather, dust and shock resistant. In collaboration with Wander Tactical we have decided to propose their new neck knife, the Raptor model, in an exclusive version with a satin blade that uses the famous Japanese San Mai steel produced by Takefu Steel. Specifically we used, for the central plate, the CoS at 61.5HRC (Cobalt Special, mechanically considered 25% higher than the already highly appreciated VG10) and the 420J2 (at 56 HRC) for the two side plates in order to guarantee a very high cutting capacity, but at the same time a remarkable resistance to abrasion, resilience and resistance to oxidation.

In fact, as early as 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials together to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that Samurai swords have been preserved to this day, becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Following this tradition applied to modern metallurgy, today we are able to have technologically advanced steels already tested and used in cutlery also by famous brands such as Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Mcusta, Kai, Sog, Zwilling, Rockstead, etc.

Characteristics of San Mai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals individually taken:

- Longer life of the cutting edge
thanks to the use of very high quality steels with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade, once hardened, achieves decidedly hardness and cutting performance higher than those achieved with the use of traditional steels.

- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although steel normally becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multilayer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For an optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

- Improvement of the aesthetic result
The knives made with multi-state steel or with a damascus pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world.

Reventon knife, no longer in production for years and limited to 2000 pieces, withdrawn from a private collection globally in excellent condition - Complete with everything, plastic box and certificates. Checked and certified by our internal laboratory.

Extrema Ratio was chosen by Automobili Lamborghini to produce the Reventón Folder, an emergency knife, belt cutter and glass breaker, designed by the Lamborghini Style Center, which becomes the official equipment of each of the 20 Reventón produced, the most exclusive supercar of the House of Bull.

Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by Japanese Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used V-Toku2 carbonaceous at 62 / 63HRC for the central plate and SUS410 stainless steel for the two external plates, in order to guarantee a very high cutting capacity, penetration and sealing of the wire together with an easy regrinding. and maintenance but at the same time the blade has a remarkable resistance to corrosion and an important increase in resilience given by the type of external steel and by the laminated structure.
Selvan model: for this First Production Run a run of 5 pieces numbered from 1 to 5 was created.

The Selvans was born from the collaboration between Extrema Ratio and FISSS (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival). The project consists of modifying the Ontos, a military survival knife, to accentuate and maximize the performance of the knife as a hiking tool.

The handle has been lengthened and the blade weighted to favor the effectiveness of the cutting strokes and to make more use of the inertia of the stroke.

FULCRUM C model: for this First Production Run, a circulation of 10 pieces numbered from 1 to 10 was produced.

FULCRUM C is the compact version of FULCRUM, it maintains all the characteristics of solidity and robustness and, thanks to the reduced dimensions of the blade (only 110 mm) and the handle, it is easily portable and concealable. The rigid sheath can be positioned horizontally, vertically or in a 45 ° inclined position. The only safety of the sheath is automatic with extraction and re-insertion by pressure, this detail makes it an intuitive and extremely fast tool, particularly suitable for emergency use and for personal defense.

As in the ancient swords of the Japanese Samurai.

Rolled steel - imported into Italy from Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. Already in 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths in fact combined different materials to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that the swords from Samurai have been preserved to the present day becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Characteristics of San Mai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals taken individually:

although normally the steel becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multi-layer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For optimum performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

- Improvement of the aesthetic result
The knives made with multistate steel or with damask pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world.

For this 2019/2020 collaboration, exclusive to Collini Cutlery, we have decided to offer a series of best sellers produced by Extrema Ratio. Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by the Japanese Takefu Steel. For this new exclusive collaboration with Extrema Ratio we decided to propose a best seller in the world of cutlery, the Shrapnel model. It's a satin blade version but the most important thing is that has been used, for the first time in Italy, the famous Japanese Steel San Mai produced by Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used the CoS (Cobalt Special, considered mechanically superior by 25% compared to the already appreciated VG10) for the central plate and the 420J2 (55 HRC) for the two side plates, in order to have a high cutting capacity, but at the the same time a remarkable resilience and resistance to oxidation.

A First Production Run of 30 pieces has been made.

Design improvement
Laminated patterns or Damascus patterns appear from basis materials which are bonded with different kinds of metals.

Commissioned and officially adopted in 2002 by the famous 9th Regiment. Raiders "Col Moschin", this model expresses the quintessence of pure combat knife.

Inspired by daggers with asymmetric blade and straight handle but oriented Arditi, from which the Regiment traces its vestiges, it was reworked in a modern way.
The center of gravity is strong backlog, particularly the tip piercing. And 'light, handy and intuitive. Each new intruder receives one, and each new intruder is trained to use it.

All knives of this series have straight handles KRATON from ergonomic design whose shape and size favors besides a solid grip the rapid change of straight handle (Sabre Grip) to upside (Reverse Grip). An Allen screw stainless steel allows the campaign from disassembly for maintenance and lubrication of the through shank increasing the operational life of the knife.

Extrema Ratio is proud to present the Culter Venatorius that, so as not to contradict the current address is a technical knife, practical, perhaps a bit 'specialized and that gives a nod to tradition and to the tastes of the most traditionalist hunters who like to do everything yourself.

The Latin motto engraved on the blade reads:

The Culter Venatorius, more than a knife, is a complete equipment for slaughtering and skinning of medium and medium-large sized prey, suitable for ungulate hunters.

The kit includes: a knife to slaughter and general use, one skinner provided with cross handle to skin and clean the internal organs the animal, a carver to skin head and snout and a stone with two grains for regrinding of all instruments.

These accessories are contained in the sleeve pocket leather fat-crafted.

The sheath while maintaining the traditional lines, is completely reversible (both the pocket that the passer can be disassembled and applied on the other face of the sheath) and to secure the side which holds the knife has the ambidextrous release. The sheath is handmade by a master saddler leather first-aged choice.
