Sobral Brothers / CAS Knives - 8" Andes Fighter Bowie San-Mai - PRIVATE COLLECTION - handmade knife
KNIFE WITHDRAWN FROM PRIVATE COLLECTION
* Origin: Withdrawn from a private collection, previously purchased
* Condition: Never used, never removed from its sheath, never displayed; as it is a carbon blade and has remained in its sheath for a long time, it has unfortunately developed small spots of oxidation on the blade, which can be easily removed with a potential re-sharpening. However, it is not possible to remove the oxidation present on the passivating oxidation of the hamon. The price at which it is offered takes into account these aesthetic details, which in no way compromise its potential practical use.
* Available on the market: unique piece, entirely handmade
* Sharpening: Factory
* Marks on blade: small spots of oxidation, some potentially removable (those on the edge and tip of the blade)
* Marks on handle: None
* Box: Sold with burgundy velvet case
* Sheath: Like new, never used and never worn
* Manuals, Certificates, and Warranties: -
* Checked and Certified by our in-house laboratory

Recon Scout in 52100 steel – Essential reliability for the toughest outdoor conditions
The Cold Steel Recon Scout in 52100 steel is a field knife designed to tackle the toughest challenges in hostile environments. With its impressive high-carbon steel blade, treated to ensure excellent impact resistance and cutting ability, this model stands out for its robustness, reliability, and power.
The Kray-Ex handle ensures a firm grip even in the most extreme conditions, while the hidden tang construction and through guard offer maximum control and safety in every use. Designed for intensive outdoor, survival, and tactical use, the Recon Scout combines generous dimensions and effective balance, making it an extremely versatile tool that is ready for anything.
52100 steel, known for its use in high-strength bearings, offers an excellent balance between hardness and ease of sharpening, as well as great toughness, making it ideal for heavy-duty use. Trail Master in 52100 steel – Essential reliability for the toughest outdoor conditions
The Trail Master in 52100 carbon steel is an excellent choice for those seeking high performance in a field knife without the cost of the premium CPM 3V version. Designed to handle the most demanding situations, it retains all the aggressiveness of the classic Trail Master, with a 9.5" clip point blade protected by a sturdy black powder coating that helps reduce reflection and improve corrosion resistance.
52100 steel, known for its use in heavy-duty bearings, offers an excellent balance of hardness and ease of sharpening, as well as great toughness, making it ideal for heavy-duty use. While not reaching the edge retention and corrosion resistance levels of CPM 3V, 52100 stands out for its reliable mechanical performance, greater ease of maintenance in the field, and an “old school” feel that is highly appreciated by carbon steel purists.

KNIFE PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED, FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION
* Provenance: Acquired from a private individual, previously purchased
* Condition: Overall in excellent condition; shows no signs of actual use. It comes with an additional nylon pocket with Velcro that contains the original vintage oil-lubricated compass.

The most distinctive—and patented—feature of the Buckmaster Buck 184 is the presence of two removable, screw-mounted harpoons, or hooks. Their primary function is to provide an anchor point: the knife can, in fact, be used as a sort of throwing hook by attaching a rope to the ring on the pommel. The manufacturer claimed the grappling hooks had a holding capacity of up to 600 pounds.In the case of the Navy SEALs, the requirement was for a knife that could also be used underwater and, if necessary, allow for the anchoring of equipment or vehicles to a submerged anchor point. This specific requirement contributed to the choice of an all-steel construction, designed to offer strength and durability even under harsh underwater operating conditions.

Puma 6356 Original Bowie - A Unique Collector's KnifeThe Puma 12 6356 is a remarkable vintage hunting knife known for its sturdiness, quality workmanship and excellent durability. Made in Germany from Pumaster steel, a high-performance alloy steel, this knife offers an ideal combination of hardness, wear resistance, and reliability. Pumaster approaches the performance of modern steels such as D2, with a similar composition that includes good carbon and chromium content. Although it does not reach the hardness of modern ultra-high performance steels, Pumaster is still able to maintain an exceptional edge over the long term, showing superior corrosion resistance compared to pure carbon steels such as 1095 or C75.
With a blade measuring nearly 10 inches long and an overall length of more than 15 inches, the Puma 12 6356 is an imposing knife that does not go unnoticed. Its nickel silver through-guard and rosewood handle give the knife a sophisticated look, while the quality of its craftsmanship ensures durable performance.
This specimen, which appears to have never been used, is in excellent condition and is complete with its original box and leather sheath - special feature of the latter is that it is still marked “Western Germany,” which dates it pre-1986.
It is an ideal choice for any collector. Not only a high-quality hunting knife, but a true collector's item for fans of vintage Puma items.

* Checked and Certified by our in-house laboratoryThis replica of Major Von Tempsky's 6.5” Bowie knife is inspired by the design of the knife he created and assigned to his company of Forest Rangers in 1863.
Gustavus Ferdinand von Tempsky (1828-1868) was a German-born adventurer, soldier and artist, known for his role in the New Zealand Wars and for his leadership among the Forest Rangers. His adventurous life and courage made him a legendary figure, particularly in the context of battles between European settlers and Māori peoples.
He learned the advantages of Bowie knife fighting in California during his stint as a prospector, where he had acquired an excellent American-made knife; once he arrived in New Zealand and found himself in charge of Forest Ranger Company No. 2 with the rank of major, he had about 30 Bowie knives made for his men according to his personal design by a blacksmith in Shortland St. Auckland. The Forest Rangers were an elite corps of mounted scouts employed by the colonial government between August 1863 and October 1867 during the New Zealand Wars.
At the time, knives were made of wagon spring steel, one of the few steels available to blacksmiths in Auckland in 1863, and Von Tempsky, an experienced fighter, taught his men the use of the Bowie knife in hand-to-hand combat. The knife was used to defend against enemy blows while a pistol was usually held in the other hand.
In addition to combat, Bowie knives were used to open paths in the forest, dig defensive positions, cut firewood, and for general use while camping.

This replica of Major Von Tempsky's 11” Bowie knife is inspired by the design of the knife he created and assigned to his company of Forest Rangers in 1863.Gustavus Ferdinand von Tempsky (1828-1868) was a German-born adventurer, soldier and artist, known for his role in the New Zealand Wars and for his leadership among the Forest Rangers.

Fox - Israeli Trakker Kapap by Avi Nardia - FX-602 - knife
Avi Nardia - Martial Arts Instructor
When I began teaching combat unfortunately I noticed that many teach the use of the knife in the wrong way. The knife is one of the most important tools for the man and his daily use is connected to my personal story, to my way of life, the principles learned from the teachings of my father and all the experience acquired as a teacher. So I decided to design this knife especially for my students, who have to learn that when they are alone in the woods must be able, with a single tool, to build their shelter, finding food and water, build a fire to know and meet all requirements needed to survive. My idea is with the knife KAPAP can survive and save lives in any place and at any time.

Inspired by the tradition of the Spanish navaja, this modern “pocket sword” combines premium CPM‑S35VN steel with robust and refined construction: mirror-polished blade, G‑10 handle, and polished 7075 aluminum frame. Thanks to the patented Tri‑Ad Lock mechanism, the Espada XL offers exceptional shock resistance, withstanding loads up to 600 lb in real-world testing. Despite its 7.5″ blade (approx. 191 mm) and total length of 16.75″ (approx. 425 mm), the knife remains surprisingly pocketable and accessible — a no-compromise heavy-duty tool for collectors, outdoor enthusiasts, LE operators, and bold design lovers.
