The Moros is an excellent choice for field use or tactical applications. This well-balanced blade is the perfect blend of size and performance. Light enough to carry without discomfort but sturdy enough to tackle various daily tasks. The tip profile is flat with a tapered upper edge, ensuring excellent cutting performance with good penetration strength. The full tang and handle of the Moros provide a neutral balance, making it light in hand. The ergonomic and textured Micarta canvas handle offers a comfortable and secure grip, both dry and wet.

After over 40 years of service in the US Army Special Forces, Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey founded Spartan Blades LLC in North Carolina. Curtis, who had been designing knives for friends in the special forces, and Mark, who worked with military and tactical equipment in the "Green Berets," decided to combine their skills and passion to create innovative and functional knives using the highest quality materials, entirely made in the United States.

Designed specifically for the seven Mercury Program astronauts, the Model 17 accompanied these pioneers on the United States' first manned space flights. Astronaut Gordon Cooper contributed to the final design of this knife, making it not only a survival tool, but also a piece of history. Two examples of this knife, rich in historical value, are currently on display at the Smithsonian Institution.
