The C70 A.T.R. (At The Ready) embodies the essence of a high-performance tactical folder. Awarded “Knife of the Year 2003” by Knives Illustrated, this model showcases the most advanced technological solutions developed by Spyderco.

The handle, precision-machined from a block of satin-finished stainless steel, is lightened by a series of holes that reduce weight and serve as tactile reference points for quick grip changes. The same holes are replicated on the contoured clip, ensuring balance and consistency in indexing.

The ends of the handle widen into a generous finger choil and a pinky rest, ensuring a stable grip in all conditions. The Compression Lock, fully integrated into the titanium scale, offers maximum strength and is rated for heavy-duty use and MBC applications.

The VG-10 blade, hollow-ground sharp, features a non-sharp swedge and a profile that combines a solid point with excellent penetration and cutting ability. Above the classic Spyderco hole is the Cobra Hood, which naturally guides the thumb during quick opening and acts as a control platform when the knife is in use.

The clip is configurable for both right and left tip-up carry thanks to the pre-drilled holes.

Shaped by tradition, the Annual Damascus Knife cites the Boker TRPPR (pronounced: trapper) as an exceptional gentleman's knife that brings the spirit of the celebrated original Trapper into a new era. Though stripped down to its essentials, the pocket knife is no slouch. The blade opens on ball bearings and is made of 100-ply Damascus and hand-forged in the USA by Chad Nichols with the Stainless Meadow pattern, opens with surprising fluidity thanks to the flipper, while the refined integral framelock with over-extension stop secures the knife securely. Making the Best Even Better

Virtually every year since the inception of the Sebenza in 1987 has seen small, incremental developments, improvements and changes. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Sebenza in 2012, Chris brought some new concepts to the Sebenza 25. 

• Large Hollow Grind Technology—the first blade to feature this new grind that blends the best of hollow and flat grinds.
• Shaped phosphor bronze washer on the lock side brings additional stability to that side of the blade.
• One-eighth inch ceramic ball acts as the interface between the lock bar and the blade, and doubles to drop into the detent, ensuring the blade stays in place when closed.
• Larger perforations in the washers reduce friction, store more lubricant and offer space for small dirt
particles to move away from the blade/washer 
interface, helping to prevent blade action from 
becoming “sticky”.
• 416 Heat treated stainless steel stop pin is interference fit into the lock side of the handle.
• Asymmetrical pattern thumb serrations on a curved thumb ramp of the blade give excellent purchase. 
At 0.140” (3.56mm), the blade is more robust than previous Sebenza models.
