* Inspected and Certified by our in-house laboratoryThe Buck 122 Nemo is one of the most fascinating and collectible knives from Buck's early production history and represents an important chapter in the development of the American brand. Introduced in 1967, the Nemo was specifically designed as a professional diving knife for divers requiring a strong, powerful and dependable tool for use in marine environments.
The Nemo design would subsequently give rise to the celebrated Buck 124 Frontiersman. During the earliest stages of production, the two models were essentially identical in terms of knife construction and were distinguished primarily by their equipment: the 122 Nemo was supplied with a dedicated synthetic diving sheath designed to be strapped to the leg, whereas the Frontiersman was marketed with a traditional leather sheath for outdoor use.
The example offered here belongs to one of the rarest and most desirable configurations within the Nemo/Frontiersman family: the early 1967 commercial production with white Teflon spacers. According to historical documentation from the Buck Collectors Club, the estimated production for this configuration was only 300-500 examples.
Its construction details are highly distinctive: a black phenolic handle, thin white Teflon spacers, a robust stainless-steel guard and the characteristic one-piece stainless-steel bird's-beak pommel, complete with a lanyard hole at the end.
The blade marking is also significant for dating the knife. The ricasso bears the simple two-line “BUCK / U.S.A.” stamp, without the 122 model number. Buck introduced systematic model-number markings only in later years, making this early configuration immediately recognizable to knowledgeable collectors.
The large plain-edge blade is made from 440C stainless steel, one of the reference steels used by Buck during this period and selected for its strong cutting performance, toughness and good corrosion resistance. Nevertheless, the Nemo's intended underwater use required particularly careful maintenance after exposure to salt water, something Buck specifically emphasized in the documentation originally supplied with the knife.
This example retains its rare original Buck Nemo diving sheath, made from rigid synthetic material and complete with adjustable straps for attachment to the diver's leg. The presence of the Nemo-specific sheath is particularly important, as it distinguishes this configuration from the contemporary Buck 124 Frontiersman.
The set also retains the original large two-piece ivory-colored Buck Knife box, typical of the earliest production period, and most importantly the rare original “BUCK NEMO” instruction sheet, in which Buck explained the characteristics of the steel and provided specific instructions for proper blade maintenance following use in water.
The knife is in excellent condition considering its age. The blade retains a very uniform satin finish and shows no evident corrosion; the handle, guard and pommel are likewise very well preserved. Only minor surface marks consistent with almost sixty years of storage and handling are visible.
The original sheath is complete and in excellent overall condition, with normal superficial signs of age. The box shows more evident staining, yellowing and storage marks, entirely consistent with its age. The original documentation is present and further enhances the historical importance and completeness of this set.
A 1967 Buck 122 Nemo with white Teflon spacers is already a highly significant piece in Buck history; finding one still accompanied by its original diving sheath, box and BUCK NEMO documentation makes this example particularly desirable for a collection dedicated to early Buck knives, American military and professional knives, or the history of diving knives.

Laguiole En Aubrac - Fly No. 13 Double-Plated Feather Collection - Handcrafted Ebony Wood Knife with Hand-Engraved Spring
On a Laguiole knife, the “bee” or mouche is much more than a simple decorative element: it represents one of the most distinctive symbols of French artisanal tradition. Positioned at the tip of the spring, over time it has become a true stylistic signature through which each artisan expresses their mastery.
In high-end models, the mouche is forged in a single piece with the spring and then finished by hand—a detail that sets the most prestigious Laguiole knives apart.
In this particular interpretation, the traditional bee gives way to the “Fly No. 13,” a handcrafted fly entirely hand-chiseled, which replaces the classic motif with an even more refined and distinctive design. An element of strong character, capable of uniting symbolism and engraving mastery.
The rear spring is entirely handcrafted, enhanced by hand-engraved details that highlight every aspect, while the presence of double brass heads and double hand-engraved brass plates lends depth, solidity, and a distinctly French elegance.
The design is completed by the exquisite ebony handle, a noble material chosen for its rich color and durability, which lends balance and prestige to the entire piece.
The production process, carried out entirely by hand, requires time, precision, and extensive artisanal expertise, making each piece unique.
This detail is not merely aesthetic but a tangible expression of savoir-faire, tradition, and the art of French cutlery.

The knife from Rambo: First Blood, the first installment in the series, is one of the most famous examples of a modern survival knife. Designed by master knife maker Jimmy Lile at the specific request of Sylvester Stallone, it was not intended as a simple prop, but as a real, functional and useful tool in an extreme survival context.
In the film, John Rambo is a former Green Beret veteran of Vietnam, an expert in guerrilla warfare and environmental adaptation. The knife becomes a symbol of his self-sufficiency: a sturdy blade, a serrated back for cutting wood and thin metal, a hollow handle with a waterproof seal to hold a small emergency kit (matches, string, hooks), and a flat pommel that can be used as a hammer or mallet. A sharpening stone was also integrated into the sheath, highlighting the philosophy of “don't depend on anything other than what you carry with you.”
The design of the Rambo 1 knife anticipates the myth of the lone hero capable of surviving against nature and man, and defines an aesthetic that would influence the production of survival knives for the entire following decade. Even today, the original Lile models are considered highly collectible items, testimony to the union between cinema and true knife-making artistry.

Sobral Brothers / CAS Knives - 8" Andes Fighter Bowie San-Mai - PRIVATE COLLECTION - handmade knife
KNIFE WITHDRAWN FROM PRIVATE COLLECTION
* Origin: Withdrawn from a private collection, previously purchased
* Condition: Never used, never removed from its sheath, never displayed; as it is a carbon blade and has remained in its sheath for a long time, it has unfortunately developed small spots of oxidation on the blade, which can be easily removed with a potential re-sharpening. However, it is not possible to remove the oxidation present on the passivating oxidation of the hamon. The price at which it is offered takes into account these aesthetic details, which in no way compromise its potential practical use.
* Available on the market: unique piece, entirely handmade

Cold Steel - SR1 Clip Point knife - S35VN - 62L OD Green G10 - folding knife
The Cold Steel SRK (Survival Rescue Knife) has been a Cold Steel pride for over 25 years. Favorite knife for many military operators, still supplied to Navy SEALs today during BUDS training.
It is therefore not surprising that Cold Steel, when commissioned in-house designer Andrew Demko to develop a high-end tactical folding knife for military applications, was inspired by the legendary SRK!
The SR1's sturdy heavy-duty blade is made from US 5mm premium CPM-S35VN sintered steel
A good blade needs a good grip, so this model of the SR1 is made from G10.
For added reliability and safety, Cold Steel has equipped the SR1 with the famous Tri-Ad locking mechanism - proven time and again to be perfect for heavy-duty use.

Boker - Kalashnikov AK-47 Damascus by Chad Nichols - 11KAL48DAM - knife
In 1947, Mikhail Kalashnikov presented the AK-47 assault rifle he had designed to the Red Army and immediately convinced the decision-making bodies of its development. Only two years later, the now famous AK-47 was officially put into service as the "7.62 mm Awtomat Kalasshnikova obraztsa 1947". Even then, the simple and reliable design with a gas-pressure magazine with a swivel-head breech, the consistent use of stamped plates that could be produced quickly and cheaply, and the adherence to a class of cartridges introduced by the Wehrmacht with the StG 44 with an average performance between machine gun and rifle ammunition set the trend to this day. These characteristics have made the Kalashnikov system the most built and replicated weapon in history, with an estimated 100 million manufactured worldwide.
Introduced in 1959 along with the AKM, the revised variant of the AK-47, the bayonet was no less revolutionary and formative for later designs than the famous assault rifle itself. The concept was based on a knife originally developed by R. Todorov for combat swimmers. It marked a move away from long bayonets, which were used purely as cutting weapons, to a short, mountable knife with insulated shears and a multifunctional rear saw.
Mikhail Kalashnikov personally visited the Boker manufacture in Solingen in 2002 and officially introduced the Boker Kalashnikov knife line to the public. More than 70 years after the AK-47 entered service, we now present a truly exceptional special edition model of the knife line and once again honor its brilliant engineering achievement. The Boker Kalashnikov Bayonet Damascus features a unique Damascus steel blade, made from 6Ch3 and 6Ch4 bayonet steel according to the GRAU index of the former Soviet Army and decorated with General Kalashnikov's signature. The stainless Damascus, handcrafted by Chad Nichols, has 80 layers and is hand forged in the Virus pattern. It features an unusually intricate pattern that is the result of a very controlled forging process.
The handle is CNC machined from a block of 6061-T6 aluminum and then black anodized. The stabilized inlays are made of domestic hornbeam wood, reminiscent of the wood in the stock of the famous assault rifle, and together they form the shape of the characteristic vents on the fore-end. The Russian amber shellac color of the original stocks has been accurately reproduced. They are also CNC milled from solid and inserted by hand. All screws and clip are also black anodized. Made in the Boker knife factory in Solingen, it is delivered with transparent floating display, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number.

The most striking feature of this model is in the edge of the blade, a full right to the tip. The Casertano lent itself well to a variety of uses, thanks to the cutting edge straight that finishes in a very simply shaped handle. This solution was very appreciated in different times and places, even outside the area where it originated, as to be still widespread. The Caserta is a model in horn tip.
