  1. ExtremaRatio - Task Desert Warfare - Tactical Knife

    The Task series has been designed for all everyday cutting jobs.

    The partially symmetrical blade with flat edge on both sides. The hollow part of the blade after the guard, which separates the sharp part from the handle, has been made to house the index finger during use, creating a grip point near the sharp part for better control while using the knife.

    This feature, together with the support grip on the back of the knife, allows a better grip while avoiding the slipping of the hand on the blade. This allows you to carry out most cutting jobs with higher pressure.

  8. Nitecore - UV + Ozone sterilizing lamp - germicidal - Small 40m² - ZWXTD-02

    AVAILABILITY AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY: from 20 July

    ULTRAVIOLET LAMP WITH OZONE - STERILIZING SURFACE MAX 40m²

    Key features:
    * Removes up to 99.99% of spores, germs, viruses and bacteria. The lamp modifies pathogenic microorganisms, viruses, molds through UV light, DNA or RNA, preventing them from reproducing or being harmful. Ozone is a very active oxidant that destroys contact microorganisms, in addition ozone also acts as an environmental deodorant. One of the advantages of ozone is that it can be transported by air to places that UV radiation cannot directly reach.
    * Effective against Coronavirus, Mushrooms, Rickettsia, Chlamydia etc.
    * Broad spectrum, high potency germicide
    * Sanitization with automatic shutdown for 15, 30 or 60 minutes
    * Radial quartz lamps with UV-C ultraviolet technology
    * Emission of O3 ozone cells for additional sterilization

    * Home environments
    * Commercial structures (shops, offices, restaurants etc)
    * Cold rooms
    * Food processing plants
    * Medical offices, veterinarians, hospitals and operating rooms
    * Odor removal

    Operating principles:
    Germicidal lamps generate short-wave radiation of 185nm radially which, passing through the purest quartz, generate ultraviolet type C (UV-C) waves that are lethal to microorganisms. All surfaces touched directly by ultraviolet waves are therefore sterilized.
    At the same time, radiation of 253.7nm produces abundant quantities of ozone (O3) in the surrounding air which, as a very active oxidant, destroys the microorganisms with which it comes into contact. This allows effective sterilization even on surfaces not directly touched by UV-C waves and on all textile surfaces, penetrating deeply and simultaneously eliminating any type of odor, acting as an environmental deodorant.

    Technical data:
    * Model: ZWXTD-02
    * Body material: painted steel
    * Lamp material: quartz
    * Rated power: 40W
    * Sterilizable surface: <40m²

    * Power on: delayed by 10 seconds
    * Operating timer: 15, 30 and 60 minutes

    Manual or remote control operation:
    1) Plug in the power outlet
    2) press the button with the desired sterilization time
    3) after 10 seconds, the lamp will turn on and remain active for the set time
    ATTENTION: during sterilization the room must be left free by people and animals
    4) at the end of the sterilization time, the lamp will automatically turn off
    ATTENTION: before staying, ventilate the rooms for at least 40 minutes

    Precautions for use:
    * The lamp in operation emits ultraviolet radiation, dangerous for exposure, and ozone, dangerous for inhalation.
    * Use only in unmanned rooms
    * Dangerous for humans, animals and plants
    * Do not look directly into ultraviolet light to avoid damage and photodermatitis
    * Do not stand near the operating lamp
    * Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light can cause aging and burns to the skin
    * Prolonged exposure to ozone can cause asthma and irritation to the respiratory tract
    * Ventilate the room before staying to allow the ozone to escape
    * Ozone can remain in the room for up to 30/40 minutes after the lamp is turned off

  14. ExtremaRatio - Col Moschin Satin knife in San Mai V-TOKU2 - Limited Edition - knife

    Japanese steel blends with Italian excellence

    For this 2020 collaboration, exclusive of Collini Cutlery, we have decided to propose a series of best sellers produced by Extrema Ratio. Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by the Japanese Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used V-Toku2 carbonaceous at 62 / 63HRC for the central plate and SUS410 stainless steel for the two external plates, in order to guarantee a very high cutting capacity, penetration and sealing of the wire together with an ease of re-sharpening. and maintenance but at the same time the blade has a remarkable resistance to corrosion and an important increase in resilience given by the type of external steel and by the laminated structure.

    Col Moschin model: for this First Production Run a run of 11 pieces was produced, numbered from 1 to 11.

    Special purpose cutting knife, specially developed for the 9th Col Moschin Parachute Assault Regiment, elite unit of the Folgore brigade.

    Use: tactical, sports, hiking, collection

    Blade: integral, in laminated Japanese steel (San Mai) with V-Toku2 (carbonaceous) cutting edge at 62 / 63HRC and external SUS410 (stainless steel) scales
    Handle: forprene
    Blade length: 160mm.

    As in the ancient Japanese Samurai swords.

    Rolled steel - imported into Italy by Collini Steel directly from Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. In fact, as early as 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials together to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that Samurai swords have been preserved to this day, becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Following this tradition applied to modern metallurgy, today we are able to have technologically advanced steels already tested and used in cutlery also by famous brands such as Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Mcusta, Kai, Sog, Zwilling, Rockstead, etc.

    Characteristics of San Mai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals individually taken:

    - Longer tool life
    thanks to the use of very high quality steels with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade, once hardened, achieves decidedly hardness and cutting performance higher than those achieved with the use of traditional steels.

    - Greater resilience
    built with the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the side coating (Stainless Steel).

    - Better corrosion resistance
    the steel used for the external layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, on a galvanic level, a structure that improves corrosion resistance even on the wire.

    - Easy processing even after heat treatment
    although steel normally becomes harder after quenching, the lateral steel used in multilayer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For an optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

    - Improvement of the aesthetic result
    The knives made with multi-state steel or damascus pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world.

    although steel normally becomes harder after quenching, the lateral steel used in multilayer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For an optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

    - Improvement of the aesthetic result
    The knives made with multi-state steel or damascus pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world.

    Craftsmanship is beautiful because it is varied

    The colors of the materials with which the handmade products are made may vary from those shown in the images.
    Horn, wood and cornotech are raw materials that by their nature have a marked variability from one supply to another: it is the beauty of quality materials. Add craftsmanship, where the craftsman's hand never makes the same gesture: it's the beauty of craftsmanship. Combine all this and you will always have a different and unique product. It is always different from the one and unrepeatable product that we must necessarily photograph if we want you to understand what we are talking about and what we are offering you.
