The Selvans S600 Black is a survival knife with total black design, made of Böhler S600 steel with hardness of 64 HRC. Powered by the excellent properties of this steel, it is designed to cope with extreme environments and outdoor operations such as cutting branches and building shelters.

The FULCRUM is a milestone among multi-role knives.

Deployed on a large scale in Afghanistan as standard equipment by components of the Italian "Nibbio" mission, it is part of an experimental individual equipment renewal project undertaken by the Alpine Troops Command. During the preparation for this important mission, Alpine Troops Command coordinated a team of companies in the production of a complete and renewed experimental individual equipment.

Selvans Expeditions, as well as the Selvans model from which it derives, was born from the collaboration between Extrema Ratio and the Master instructor F.I.S.S. (Federazione Italiana Survival Sportivo e Sperimentale) Daniele Dal Canto. This tool is the result of the modification of the ONTOS, military survival knife, realized in order to accentuate and maximize the performance of the knife.

Selvans Expeditions uses Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC with MIL-C-13924 burnishing and stone washed surface treatment (Dark Stone finish). The handle has been lengthened and the blade weighted to promote effective cutting strokes. It comes with a desert Cordura sheath with MOLLE system, equipped with a mini pouch containing paracord with flammable filament that can be used in case of emergency and/or critical weather conditions and a Firesteel for lighting fires.

The survival kit (not included and purchasable separately) has been optimized and includes whistle, chainsaw, drinking pads, compass, brass wire, flintlock, flashlight, paracord 2,5 mt. and sharpener.

The Herring dagger is one of the most loved military knives by enthusiasts.

Its original name is Fairbairn Sykes or Commando Dagger and it was present in the endowment of the British Commandos.

A dagger that entered Italian history in World War II, thanks to the exploits of young soldiers of the 1st "Folgore" Reconnaissance Squadron, who were equipped with this weapon during Operation Herring. He has behind him a heroic piece of history that is rarely talked about, despite the fact that these young boys, thanks to their devotion to the cause and their courage, have written an important page in Italian history.

Extrema Ratio wanted to pay homage to this dagger trying to remain faithful to the original forms, while using the most modern production techniques.

The very special hand-made finish of the handle simulates the aging of brass and gives the dagger a dated look, similar to the original.

The dagger was developed in collaboration with the 185th RAO and adopted as a ceremonial commemorative dagger for the 20th anniversary of the regiment's establishment and the 75th anniversary of the Herring mission.

The knife is equipped with a polymer case with historical frieze of the F Squadron, leather / kydex sheath with brass tip and two commemorative scrolls.

S.E.R.E. 2, adopted by the Operational Group of Italian Navy Incursors, is the development of the S.E.R.E. 1, created by a study group composed of Special Forces operators, martial artists and experts in survival techniques. This variant 2 has been revised according to the needs expressed by the Department.

The acronym S.E.R.E. refers to the four principles "Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape" which make up the training program provided to military personnel at high risk of capture.

The S.E.R.E. 2 is suitable for both tip and cut use. The unique grip, unlike the classic blades of this type, is fixed between the index and the middle, thus forming a single axis from the tip of the blade to the user's wrist, allowing its use also in reverse grip. The handle has the same ergonomics as the butt of a firearm; this grip allows an instinctive and immediate use, being able to easily integrate the training in the training activity.

The geometry of the tip ensures maximum penetration, at the same time its axial profile with a triangular base protects its resistance. The design of the blade has on one side a partially serrated profile to favor the cutting of cordages, and on the other hand a classic cut or straps that, unlike the previous model, has re-sharpening and interchangeable blades.

The central loop, which has the dual function of lightening and turn-crickets, recalls the maritime origins of its creators. The peculiarity of the knife is that it has been specifically designed to be used even without the handle; the two holes in the part dedicated to the handle facilitate assembly.

The kydex sheath has a basic retention that can be used alone for operators who need extremely fast knife use, and a removable locking lock if necessary. The knife is supplied with double safety for ambidextrous mounting. An insert with a flat-blade screwdriver is available as an accessory. Comes with belt clip for belt fastening and paracord for fixing on the M.O.L.L.E. system.

The Fulcrum C Black is the compact version of the famous Fulcrum knife, designed by Extrema Ratio to offer maximum reliability in a smaller, easily transportable format. Designed for tactical and emergency use, this fixed-blade knife stands out for its strength, ergonomics and versatility.

Folding knife made to specific requests of the Italian Army department 185 ° RAO (Regiment Acquisition Objectives) and currently supplied to the homonymous department. The supplied knife differs from the civil one only because of the total lack of writing or logos on the blade.

HISTORICAL SUMS ON THE DEPARTMENT:
The 185 ° RAO of the '' Folgore '' is a department with an ancient tradition, but very new. In fact, it was born on April 3, 2000 following the reconfiguration of the 185th terrestrial paratroop artillery regiment. Based in Livorno, it is an atypical department of the artillery weapon, currently inserted in the Special Forces basin.

Entirely composed of voluntary personnel, the 185th RAO selects its components through the passing of a physical test and a qualification course on modules '' with increasing difficulty ''. The tasks entrusted to the RAO's men are many, but all very delicate: it is about gathering information on enemy objectives and 'passing them' to one's command. More generally, it can talk about '' recognition in sensitive areas ''. '' It is therefore evident - they stress to the Army - that the activity of the acquirer takes place mainly in hostile territory, in small self-sufficient nuclei that act in isolation ''.
