The “LionSTEEL-Emerson ONE” project is back and the L.E.One Mid was created as a compact, ultra-light edition of our original and larger SOLID folding karambit, developed in collaboration with Emerson Design. The SOLID frame-lock handle — a LionSTEEL hallmark — is milled from a single solid piece of Ergal aluminum while the blade is crafted from Bohler M390 steel.

The reversible stainless steel clip can be mounted on the opposite side by screwing in the corresponding square steel post.

A steel insert is positioned at the end of the handle scale where the lock engages, preventing aluminum wear from contact with the blade during opening.

The patented Wave opening: Ernest Emerson created the Emerson Wave Feature so the knife automatically opens when drawn from the pocket at the correct angle. It is the fastest opening system in the world — faster than many automatics, because the extraction motion itself deploys the blade.

The VULPIS series was born out of the need to create a compact, versatile, multi-purpose knife with a modern design that perfectly matches historical products. The inspiration for the creation of this line starts from the DUCA, the name of the typical multi-purpose knife of the people of Maniago, a knife that originated in the second half of the 1800s in Maniago, when hunting knife sharpeners with different sized blades, ivory toothpicks and tweezers for removing thorns were made.

These knives were presented at the 1888 National Exposition in Turin by the Bet Giovanni company, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. The teeth allow it to cut larger ropes or textile materials, the remaining smooth part has the classic function of a knife. The second blade is a scalpel, which can be used for extremely precise cuts and for emergency first aid interventions. The third blade, on the back of the first, is the smallest of the 3, it has the function of cutting lines, capable of cutting paracord and aramid material.

The interaction of the main blade with the scalpel allows the operator to make a quick emergency cut to free any injured person from his or her clothing.

The line cutter blade and the scalpel are both interchangeable.

The CUMA Tak-Ri 3.5 is not your typical kukri. In fact, you have to understand what a Gurkha Kukri is to see the curve of its blade. The kukri (Devnagari/ खुकुरी), originally spelled khukri or khukuri, is a Nepalese curved knife. The Herring dagger is one of the most loved military knives by enthusiasts.

Its original name is Fairbairn Sykes or Commando Dagger and it was present in the endowment of the British Commandos.

A dagger that entered Italian history in World War II, thanks to the exploits of young soldiers of the 1st "Folgore" Reconnaissance Squadron, who were equipped with this weapon during Operation Herring. He has behind him a heroic piece of history that is rarely talked about, despite the fact that these young boys, thanks to their devotion to the cause and their courage, have written an important page in Italian history.

Extrema Ratio wanted to pay homage to this dagger trying to remain faithful to the original forms, while using the most modern production techniques.

The very special hand-made finish of the handle simulates the aging of brass and gives the dagger a dated look, similar to the original.

The dagger was developed in collaboration with the 185th RAO and adopted as a ceremonial commemorative dagger for the 20th anniversary of the regiment's establishment and the 75th anniversary of the Herring mission.

The knife is equipped with a polymer case with historical frieze of the F Squadron, leather / kydex sheath with brass tip and two commemorative scrolls.

The particular situation created in the early years of the 1914/18 war, now mired in increasingly complex and protected trenches and fortifications, favored the formation of men who, little by little, specialized in the coup.

Our assault units, the Arditi, had their dagger. It was obtained from the pieces cut away by the long blades of the Vetterli 1870 bayonets, which in the narrow trenches, in the corridors, between the reticulars were only an obstacle.
