Inspired by the charm of nature, the Cronos Knives designer carefully shaped the form and composition of this fixed blade knife, taking inspiration from the tadpole from which it takes its name. The drop-point blade with high-precision saber sharpening is made of CPM-3V steel, a carbon steel produced using powder metallurgy technology, renowned for its exceptional toughness, high impact resistance, and remarkable wear resistance. Although not stainless, it offers good corrosion resistance for its category and ensures excellent edge retention even in the most demanding uses. Cutting, carving, and even chopping are the unmistakable comfort zone of this outdoor knife.

To ensure maximum stability, the tang is full-length and protrudes a few millimeters from the end of the handle, so that it can easily withstand even powerful blows with round wood. A short section of the blade's back forms sharp 90-degree edges on both sides to make sparks with an optional fire starter. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) was chosen as the handle material, which completely encloses the tang and has a grippy texture.

The legacy of a classic - timeless - traditionally enduring and interpreted in a contemporary way by Boker Plus. The original Barlow probably owes its name to the enterprising knife maker from Sheffield, who began exporting robust knives to North America around 1800. 

The characteristic teardrop shape of the folding knife dates back to the 17th century, making it one of the oldest designs of all time. Instead of wood and silver, the Boker Plus Modern Barlow uses titanium-coated bolsters and elegant black micarta handle scales. The modern nail pull on the blade is complemented by a front flipper and a linerlock for locking the clip point blade made of Nitro-V steel with ball bearing rotation. 

The flat pivot screw, the two-tone brushed satin finish of the blade, and the elegant tip-up clip complete the tidy look of the pocket knife.
