Straight to the point

The Straight is a sturdy frame lock blade designed by artisan blacksmith T.J. Schwarz. Inspired by the small classic pocket knives his cowboy father carried, but with modern lines and materials.

With an overall length of just over six inches, the Straight features a textured G10 handle for a secure grip and a versatile Wharncliffe-shaped blade made of D2 steel with a razor-sharp tip. Support with two different bars, one in ceramic and one in diamond.

The yellow diamond sharpening stone (25 microns) is used to make a fine sharpening, with the white ceramic stone (9 microns) the edge of the knife is polished in order to obtain a razor-sharp edge.

For cleaning, use some dish soap and hot water.

Diamond sharpening with two different sharpening grits.

The yellow surface consists of titanium and aluminum nitride which greatly prolongs the life of the sharpener. The rough side (44 microns) is used to recover more damaged cutting edges, while the fine side (25 microns) is used for precision sharpening.

For cleaning, use dish soap and warm water.

Like all diamond sharpeners, this whetstone is a little rough at first, but gets smoother after a period of use.
