Created in the early 1980s from the vision of legendary designer Al Mar, the 3004 “De Oppresso Liber” is much more than a knife: it is a symbol of tactical excellence and special forces spirit.

Produced in a very limited series in Seki, Japan, this fixed blade knife was designed to meet the extreme standards of the U.S. Army's SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) units.

SHIN in Japanese means ‘trust’.

The SHIN is one of the largest folders in the Rockstead catalog and showcases all the typical and characteristic elements of the brand: aluminum handle with a pearl-radiant design, hardened anodization at 400 Vickers, and an insert of high-quality stingray leather (Samekawa).

This is a durable knife with strong cutting capabilities that maintains its edge for a long time. Even when used for rigorous cuts, the blade glides securely thanks to its particular sharpening.

The HIGO-MH-DLC folder features a 3.5-inch YXR7 blade with DLC coating and Micarta handle. The incredible mirror finish is achieved by heat treating the blade and gradually grinding by hand with wet and dry sandpaper of 400, 600, 800, 1,200 and 2,000.
