This limited edition Magnum Tanto style piece is based on a historical Japanese samurai sword that was popular during the Heian period (794-1185). The modified dagger-style blade, based on a design by the legendary blacksmith Amakumi, refers to the period when samurai lived the 'bushido' or 'way of the warrior'. The shape of this blade is called Kissagi-moroha and is derived from the Kogarasu-maru sword. The material of the blade is 440A stainless steel with a rich two-tone finish. The traditional handle is combined with synthetic material simulating tsuka and ray skin; the Tsuba provides a secure grip. Supplied with a genuine leather sheath and presentation box. Limited to 1,999 pieces worldwide, each serialised.

Knife that combines two qualities difficult to match, especially in those years; lightness and sturdiness. Elegant gentlemen, easy to open and close with one hand thanks to the Liner-Lock system, invented by Walker himself. Peculiarities of this very rare production are also the engravings on blade and clip made by excision and not by laser.

In 1996 Blackie Collins was inducted into the Cutlery Hall of Fame. - The Strut'N'Cut knife is inspired by the soft suspension of Blackie Collins' Ducati motorcycle - In 1996 he partnered with Bill Meyer to create the Meyerco knife company. The two were immediate pioneers in the knife world, being the first company to launch an assisted-opening knife. Today Meyerco is credited with the invention of the spring-loaded knife. - Blackie Collins holds over 60 patents for knife mechanisms and many design patents for cutlery products. Slight regrinding, perfectly centered blade with good retention from closed, fluid opening movement and blade without any horizontal or vertical clearance once opened. The frame lock engages in the first quarter of the race without any uncertainty and without sticking.

Globally in good condition, it shows some small marks on the G11 handles and on the back and belly of the liners. A small abrasion on the blade, on the right side near the tip of the knife.
