The Operator 7 model is huge! TOPS Knives has dared to create an imposing knife with a thick blade and solid handle, creating a balanced tool that excels as a true “workhorse.” At the same time, it retains that classic American combat knife aesthetic, looking as spectacular as it performs.

Made from 8 mm thick 1075 steel, the blade is differentially heat treated: the edge is impact resistant, while the spine is incredibly sturdy. The handle combines sand-colored Micarta on the lower part with black G10 on the upper part, offering optimal grip. The Silent Hero was designed by Anton Du Plessis, then Head of Operations for the Silent Heroes Foundation Special Interdiction Unit, whose mission was to fight poaching in South Africa. 2014 knife created through a collaboration between Fox and Hill Knives that commemorates the ISAF (International Security Forces) and ANSF (Afghan National Security Forces) memorial unveiled Sept. 22, 2013, in Kabul, Afghanistan, to honor fallen military personnel during peacekeeping operations in the country. Japanese steel meets Italian excellence

For this 2021 collaboration between Coltelleria Collini of Busto Arsizio and Fox Knives of Maniago, we decided to offer the 609OD Bushman, an outstanding bushcraft knife produced by Fox Knives of Maniago, using high-performance Japanese V-Toku2 Sanmai steel (5mm) from Takefu Steel instead of the D2 steel used in the standard model.

Specifically, we used high-carbon V-Toku2 at 62/63HRC for the central core and stainless SUS410 for the outer layers, ensuring exceptional cutting ability, penetration, and edge retention. At the same time, the blade offers high corrosion resistance and increased toughness due to the laminated structure and external stainless steel.

The laminated steel—imported into Italy by Collini Steel directly from Takefu Steel in Japan—follows the ancient Japanese tradition of crafting legendary Samurai swords. As early as the 1100s, Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials to create Katana swords with incredible cutting power, strength, and flexibility, unmatched at the time. This revolutionary forging technique has allowed Samurai swords to survive to this day as some of the most fascinating objects ever created.

Vintage Fox collector's knife from Maniago - Limited Edition 1997

We present a one-of-a-kind example, the vintage Fox knife from Maniago, produced in 1997 and part of a limited series of only 1000 pieces. This specific knife, numbered 94, comes from a private collection and has been kept in perfect condition, retaining its original beauty and functionality intact.

Production and Origin: Made in Maniago, Italy, in 1997, part of a numbered and limited series (94/1000).
Materials: The blade is made of Damascus steel, composed of 512 hand-forged layers. The handle is made of cocobolo wood, known for its aesthetic and robust qualities.
Packaging and Authenticity: The knife is presented in a wooden box, ideal for storage or display, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Fox's founder, Oreste Frati, which guarantees its originality and quality.
Condition: Retired from a private collection, the knife has been maintained in impeccable condition, a testament to the care and attention of its previous owners.
