And 'completed by strips of chain mail antiqued to give the illusion of wearing a complete armor beneath his tunic knit.

Robert I Bruce was king of Scotland from 1306 to 1329. Of Norman and Scottish Gaelic ancestry, he was one of the greatest kings of Scotland, and also one of the most famous warriors of his era. He led Scotland against the Kingdom of England during the Scottish Independence Wars.
