Gabriele Sammatrice/Sicilian Forge Custom Knives is a skilled craftsman who offers blades with character, strength and cutting edges of the highest level. He often uses A8 Modified tool steel: a very strong alloy steel. The most common use of this alloy is in striking blades. It has extreme toughness with good edge retention. The 8.5% chromium makes it almost stainless.

A8-mod is a modified version of AISI A8. It is a tool steel with a medium carbon content and alloyed with chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. This steel is an improvement on A8 steel, with good hardenability, toughness and dimensional stability to heat treatment.

The Bark River Aurora II is designed as the ultimate bushcraft knife, a result of extensive testing conducted by experts in North America and Europe. This outdoor knife, perfected through feedback received, is notable for its balance and versatility. Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. His workshop is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now, Takeshi Saji has been forging steel (especially damascus) with which he makes various models of traditional Japanese knives. The choice of materials for the finishes (mainly natural), the essential lines - evocative of use - and the chromatic combinations of rare impact make his creations unique and unmistakable in the panorama of world cutlery and, at home, they have earned him the prestigious title of Master.

The Spartan-Breed Fighter/Dagger is our first collaboration with knife maker, writer, and retired Green Beret, MSG(R) Kim Breed. The Breed Fighter/Dagger was produced with the goal of creating a sturdy fighter in the spirit of our Special Operations Forces. Daggers have come to symbolize the elite of our military special operations units and agencies since the forming of the OSS. In that spirit, we worked with Kim to create a fighter/dagger that could be used while conducting missions on the modern battle field.
The blade allows for deep penetration, all while allowing the user to index the blade by touch and feel. The ergonomic and textured micarta handle is specifically designed with comfort and confidence in of grip.
