Released in 2023, the MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) is the first Microtech knife to feature the fantastic RAM-LOK technology. This sturdy reinterpretation of the sleeper lock features Microtech's distinctive stepped pattern, made famous by the Ultratech series trigger switches. The wide blade cutout provides ample room for reverse middle finger movement and standard slow-rotation thumb opening, with or without gloves. If neither is preferred, simply pull down on the RAM-LOK and the blade opens with a flick of the wrist. Injection-molded handles offer excellent grip potential with both standard and inverted grips. The Amphibian is a true Marfione classic dating back over 20 years. It comes from a bygone era when Microtech knives could be both automatic and manual--in one. Here we have the manual version that incorporates Tony's RAM-LOK design with a reversible pocket clip and two thumb studs for a fully ambidextrous knife that sacrifices nothing in any way. It features Bohler's proprietary M390MK steel, available only from Microtech Knives.
