The ASTOR is our first folding knife in collaboration with prolific knife maker Les George, winner of Blade Show 2021 as "Imported Knife of the Year."

The ASTOR was built as a sturdy working knife! With its sturdy G-10 grips, thick liner-lock and high-strength CTS-XHP steel blade, the ASTOR is the perfect knife for those jobs that require a little extra toughness.

All of our Bronze Field Grade productions incorporate our new "Oil Infused Bronze Bushing System" or "OIBBS"! Our sintered bronze bushings are impregnated with oil, which reduces friction on the blade, thus ensuring that the blade opens smoothly, even when firmly held. This system is especially useful for low speeds, intermittent use and irregular loads such as those found on folding knives.

Les George designed the ANZU to have maximum handle ergonomics, ensuring a firm grip, MAGNACUT drop point blade maximizes cutting capacity and steel corrosion resistance. The VERSO Lock opening mechanism gives this knife maximum efficiency.  Dual thumb pins and VERSO lock make the knife easy to open and close with both hands. The clip allows for easy carrying, making the knife always ready for use.

ANZU is the new knife from Fox Knives inspired by the creature of the Mesopotamian religions; a powerful figure who challenged the authority of the gods by stealing from the god Enlil the Table of Destinies, an object that, when possessed, confers the power to control the Universe. Through this act of rebellion, Anzu became an example of power, strength, precision and determination, characteristics that also distinguish the new Fox Knives knife designed by Les George.
