  1. Opinel - No. 07 Chestnuts, garlic and pitting

Since 1890, in a pocket, backpack, kitchen drawer or on the table, Opinel has been synonymous with a nomadic art of living, natural spirit, moments of sharing and complicity.

Opinel - No. 07 Chestnuts, garlic and pitting

    A knife for nature-loving foodies!

This pocket knife is used for cutting and peeling chestnuts, as well as peeling garlic or quickly removing stones and pits from fruit by making an incision. It is ideal for preparing jams and tarts Its small size means it fits easily into your pocket and its short, pointed and curved 4 cm blade is easier to handle than a long blade. Perfect as a useful and practical gift idea. This knife can be personalised.

Blade length :4 cm Stainless steel We use Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge.

Blade hardness 57-58 HRC Safety ring Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).

  62. Fox - Vulpis Grenade Pattern - Limited Edition - PVD Blackwash M390 & Copper - FX-VPGP130 COB - knife

The VULPIS series was born out of the need to create a compact, versatile multi-purpose knife with a modern design that blends perfectly with our classic products. The inspiration for this line comes from the DUCA, the name of the multi-purpose knife typical of the people of Maniago. This knife originated in the second half of the 19th century in Maniago, when hunting knife sharpeners with blades of various sizes, ivory toothpicks, and tweezers for removing thorns were being produced.

These knives were presented at the 1888 National Exposition in Turin by the Bet Giovanni company, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. It was likely in this context that Luigi Amedeo of Savoy, Duke of the Abruzzi, decided to visit one of the company’s two stores in Turin, where he saw and ordered the four-blade multi-purpose knife, which he selected as part of the equipment for the North Pole expedition he led in 1899.

  72. Opinel - N°10 Shiori by Nigara Hamono - Limited Edition - VG7 Laminated Steel & Flamed Maple - collector's knife

Opinel N°10 Shiori - The meeting of two cultures, two masteries.
Born from the collaboration between Opinel, the historic French cutlery house, and Nigara Hamono, a renowned Japanese forge specializing in the Tsugaru Uchihamono tradition, the N°10 Shiori is an exceptional knife that blends aesthetics, craftsmanship and functionality. It was designed by Atsuko Totsuka-Blanchet, founder of Shiori, who selects Japanese handcrafted objects designed to integrate with French daily life.

The blade is forged from multilayer VG7 stainless steel, subjected to a handcrafted hammering process called Tsuchime, which gives it an irregular surface: in addition to its aesthetic appeal, this technique prevents wet food from adhering to the blade, ensuring a precise and durable cut. With a hardness of 63 HRC, it offers superior cutting performance.

The handle made of flamed maple, a French wood with a bright, undulating texture, is sanded for a silky feel. The heel features a matte black finish that complements the elegance of the design. The Virobloc safety system, made of stainless steel treated with a black finish, improves corrosion resistance but is sensitive to scratches: gentle cleaning is recommended, avoiding abrasive sponges.

An object of excellence that celebrates the dialogue between two worlds, combining beauty and functionality in one extraordinary knife.
