The M23 Ranger Cub knife features a 6.5-centimeter carbon steel blade with an induction-hardened edge at 62 HRC. Remember that carbon steel always requires some care, so keep the blade clean and wash and dry it after each use. You can also apply a little oil to the blade from time to time. The handle, made of anodized anticorodal aluminum with tactical mud coloring, is equipped with a tungsten carbide rear glass breaker.

On the back are a stainless steel nail stripper that can be locked in the open position and a resealable rescue tool that allows the operator to make a quick emergency cut to free a possible casualty from their clothing. This second tool is also great for use as a belt cutter.
